Richmond was my 10th half marathon this year! There were many things about this race that rocked, including how I ran it. The rain, however, I could have done without.
I leave shortly for half marathon #2 for the weekend. I’m feeling pretty good, but my quads are tired and sore (Richmond is somewhat hilly with a wicked downhill finish).
My goal? Obviously number 1 goal is to finish upright and uninjured, maybe even with a smile on my face.
Number 2 goal? Not have this be my slowest race ever, which means 2:35 or faster.
