Jones participated in a camp at a local art center this summer. The center hosts local artists and frequently exhibits local and new artists. This year they did an exhibit of artwork from the summer classes and Jones decided to enter one of his creations. Since it was one of only two 3-D submissions, his was displayed on a pedestal in the middle of the room! It’s hard to see, but he created a tree, a person and some sort of creature out of clay.
“Jones’ Cabin”
Today I asked Shoo to take a 12 pack of toilet paper upstairs to the bathroom. When I finished putting away the rest of the groceries, this is what I found:
Guess that’s what happens when you ask a three year old to help.
On the running front, I had a nice 6 mile run on Saturday where I averaged a 9:23 pace. I felt like I was running at a really easy pace and could have definitely gone longer, but I ran out of time. Sunday I ran 4.5 miles with various speed intervals: 1 mile in 8:18, 1 half mile in 4:03 and a quarter mile in 1:58. My overall pace was just over 9 minutes. Today I ran 3 horribly slow, lead legged miles, but at least I got them done.
Shoo starts preschool tomorrow and I’m running around like crazy getting ready for our party next weekend. I have 10 miles planned during Shoo’s 2.5 hour session on Wednesday, which will be tight with drop off, running, cleaning up, and getting there for pick up. Worst case, I guess I’ll pick him up before I shower.
I hope to get packages out to Jess and Amanda soon and will likely post pictures.
Well, he DID take them "up stairs". Just two of them. :o)
I was gonna make the same comment as XC2! Cute. He took it very literally.
Aww, cute art work! The cabin AND toilet paper. :)Nice job on the runs.
Love the tp! too funny!
Nice job on the runs. I was in our downstairs bathroom and asked Sophie to bring me some tp from upstairs . . . she undid a whole roll and brought it downstairs. Kids!
Ha ha ha! Love Shoo's attempt to help!
Cute art work! He did take the tp up the stairs and it is very organized!Great job on the running.
That's neat that he had his art displayed. Lol at the TP on the stairs, I guess "upstairs" is open to interpretation:)
too funny about the TP
Ohh Shoo!!! LOL That is too cute!
I love Jones' display…very fancy on that pedestal! I also think that Shoo was very thoughtful with the careful placement of the toilet paper. Too cute!
hilarious! (the tp)Great work on the longer run – I love it when it feels like you could just keep going…
