Or kid cup. Same difference.
We went out for our usual Friday night dinner out. (We’ve discussed not going out every Friday, but by Friday I’m so done with being a stay at home mom that we do it anyways). Ah well, small pleasures). Anyways, we went to Rock Bottom again. Gotta love a place with good beer, good food, and hey, they gave us a $10 off coupon ’cause we’re frequent, um, drinkers. So, the boys were not on their best behavior. Usually they are really good in restaurants as we’ve taken them out every week pretty much their entier lives. Tonight, not so much. By the time I was halfway through my second beer, it was apparent it was time to leave. Since I’m not one to dork a beer, I didn’t want to leave my beer behind. But, it’s a maibock and really hoppy for that style, so pounding it was not an option. So, I did what any self respecting mom would do, I poured out Shoo’s root beer, replaced it with my beer and walked out. I’m finishing it right now.
Jess needs to hurry up and have that kid. I’m too ld to take her place with drunken bloggin. Just sayin’.

Ha ha! That is a classic! Enjoy!!
Ooh, was just at an RB last weekend! I had, um, something light. Something with “dog” in the name. I think? At least you get some $ off. Well done.
I would totally do that.
Now that’s resourceful!
Best. Story. EVER.Congrats, you win the internet.
Waste not, want not!And if I could brew Norah on turbo drive, I would! Cuz I could use a drink myself.
LMAO. Glaven will be so proud! Happy Mother’s Day!
Good thinking!
That’s awesome! And something I will totally be doing once I have kids 🙂
You note this as though it were controversial or something. It is not.You did what any good mother would and should do.
Sounds like the perfect way to spend Mother’s Day!!
Way to not commit a party foul! Wasting a beer is one of the most difficult things to do. Running the GA ING half I sped by some spectators that were handing out beer. As I grabbed one and went to drink it while running I spilled it everywhere, except in my mouth! It must have been meant to be: http://www.seriousrunning.com/blog/health/effects-of-alcohol-on-running/
