We ended up having a nice weekend. I drank 4 beers and promptly went to sleep LOL. On the bright side, the beers were awesome (Flying Dog Amber, Dominion Baltic Porter, and Harpoon Winter Warmer). On the pathetic side, who goes to sleep at 8:30 after only 4 beers? I believe I am officially old.
Sunday was cold and super windy, so we did an indoor family activity. We went to a local cinema and draft house and saw Wall-E. I had another of the Dominion’s there, as well as fries covered in cheese and bacon. Yeah, I’m doing great at losing weight these days. Thanks for asking. ;o)
Today Shoo and I went to our exercise class. I got a good workout and may not be able to walk tomorrow. Shoo thought it was funny to sit on my leg while I was doing leg lifts and then lay under me while I was flowing from plank to cobra to downward dog. That’s lot more challenging when you can’t actually touch the floor! Then we raked the lawn again for an hour and a half, so I fear not being able to lift my arms tomorrow.
I have a 10 miler planned for tomorrow, which may have to happen on the dreadmill. It’s supposed to rain/snow tonight. I won’t run outside if it’s actually precipitating and right now all the sidewalks and streets are covered with a huge amount of leaves, so things may be really slippery. If that’s the case, I’ll be running and watching TLC. Bleh.
Beer Geek is on travel this week, so I think I’ll also have to hit the treadmill on Wednesday evening after the kids are down. Thankfully, my parents get here Thursday night for the weekend, so dad and I can run Friday and hopefully Sunday.
So seriously. You are actually considering doing 10 miles ON THE TREADMILL?!?!? Really?!?! I can’t even fathom that. I lose it after 2 miles…4 at most. Ten?!?!
I’m with Lisa: 10 miles on the treadmill? You are made of super stuff!
LMAO! Ooohhhh girl you sound like me. Gimme a couple cocktails and I’m O-u-t.
Its that uncertain time of the year–inside or outside workouts? You just go with the flow. And BTW, I’ve got you beat on the dreadmill: 18 miles once. Naturally I was ready to jump off a bridge when I got done.
The drafthouse is super fun– I miss the days when I used to live right down the street. How nice to be able to watch a nice family movie while drinking a beer. Good luck with the 10 miler! Hopefully the precipitation will hold off.
I once made it 9 miles on a treadmill, but a friend was talking my ear off. Good luck!
