…a fast 3 mile run on the treadmill, knowing that you don’t have to “save” anything for the last miles.
…spending the day researching places to stay in Ireland.
…knowing you can run tomorrow, or not, and if you do run, you can run what you like.
…another day of the cat NOT eating the gecko. (Yes, the lid is bungee corded on…)
…knowing that a bunch of your MRTT friends have been bitten by the Half Fanatic bug, so you won’t be alone at pretty much any race this spring.
…friends who’ll take super attractive pictures of you doing a side plank at boot camp.
…finishing up all of the 2013 filings at work.
…knowing that in 3 weeks, the “Venus” adventure begins.
…snagging a few hours of work at the library. (You have to be quick to respond!)
…a new pair of shoes in the mail. Even better, a new pair of REALLY bright shoes in the mail.
…having a husband who is just as excited about your running adventures as you are (maybe more so as he plans the weird geography part of the trip.)
…buying yourself a new pendant… just because. (From Angie Bee’s etsy store.)
…reading an awesome post from one of the most GBA women you’ve ever had the opportunity to be friends with. (If I say I want to go for a run with you, I want to run WITH you. Really.)
Yep, for a pretty ordinary, kid home sick kind of day, it was a darn good one. It’s the little things that make life beautiful.
Sounds like a pretty good day all right. Love the new shoes.
And, only 3 weeks till you start the half marathon epic adventure?! Exciting!!
I like it too that my husband and I share same interests especially when it comes to running. 🙂 We’re both excited about our running adventures. 🙂 Love the bright shoes btw! 🙂
Beer Geek won’t be running. ;o) He’s excited about the traveling. That’s ok, though, he supports me running anywhere I want if it means he gets a vacation.
Testing plugin.
I can hear you smiling.
Sounds like a great day! Love the new shoes. =)
