Yesterday evening, I got a nice surprise in the mailbox. I had 3! packages. Woo hoo!
The first was my iGo Charge Anywhere that I won from C.Mom.
I haven’t used it yet, but I’m very excited to try it. I got the tip for my cell phone, but you know if I like it, I’ll be buying the one for my Garmin Forerunner.
The next package contained my TMB Endurance tank. I couldn’t resist ordering this when Tonia put it up.
If you are considering buying one (Do!), just know that the tanks are super long (I’ve seen women clubbing in shorter dresses…) and cut pretty small, but are quite stretchy (I bought a large, even though I usually wear a small or medium). Love it though!
The final package was a running bra from Kalyx that I won on Jen’s blog. I originally got the Embrace Running bra, but I didn’t like the way it fit under my armpits, plus it was cut shorter through the body than most of my running bras.
Kalyx was kind enough to exchange it for another one and the new bra arrived today. This time I got the Kickstart bra. I’d share a picture, but it’s cut a lot lower than the above bra and umm, this is a family friendly site. I took it out for a run this morning and LOVE it! It was very comfy and a lot cooler than my other runner bras. I’m not sure a well-endowed woman could run in it, but it was plenty of support for me.
Running has been a major suckfest lately. I went out on Thursday for a five mile run. It was hot, humid, and sunny and I found out afterward that the “feels like” was 101. Smart? Not so much. Yesterday’s run was a bit cooler, but I think I was still dehydrated from the day before. I hit a wall at the three mile point, which was unfortunately a mile and a half from my house. The slog back to the house was not pretty. I actually turned off my garmin twice while I walked slowly. Thankfully I had my amphipod handheld with me. I thought I’d take today off since I got up late, but it was below 80 out and I couldn’t resist that. Three and a half miles with some fartleks in the last mile and a half. It wasn’t an awesome run, but it was way better than the last two. I haven’t run a long run yet this week, so hopefully I can drag my sorry butt out of bed early tomorrow and get it in.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

Ooh… now I want one of those tanks 🙂 Not helping my tank top addiction, lol
Wow–you hit pay dirt! Glad you are on a roll package wise. The running will come–today was already a bit cooler, so your weather is not far off!
Maybe I should go check my mail. No expectation for any packages though!
Lots of fun stuff. The tank looks cute. I got it in a large to. At first I thought I should have gotten a medium, but one time in the dryer and it fit perfectly.
I love fun mail! Definitely lots of good stuff!

Ahhh fartleks, can you explain those to me!?!!? Google is not doing a good job at an explaination!!
Thanks for the great recommendation for the suck it up, buttercup shirt. My good friend is training for a half ironman and I gave it to her as a fun gift. She loved it!
