This week went pretty well for me. I ramped up the veggies, so most days I way surpassed the 7 per day. Assuming I go run in a bit (which I fully expect to do), I will have hit every single run in my training plan, for a total of 31 miles this week. In fact, I definitively passed 100 miles for the month of November by hitting 127 miles for the month! (I’m trying really hard not to look too far ahead, because I see weeks with 50+ miles and that just scares me. LOL) So far, the scale is refusing to budge, but my jeans don’t feel tighter than normal, so I’m beginning to think that I’m actually building some muscle. Guess we’ll see. My goal for this week is to continue what I’ve been doing: hit all my training miles, do one yoga class, and keep eating lots of veggies.
Everyone has been talking about how they are getting in veggies. My “trick”? I’m all about the sauteed veggies with some form of protein and a little bit of cheese. In fact, most days I had that for breakfast and for lunch. All that varies is which veggie and what protein…

Great work on the HBBC! I love putting veggies as the focus of meals too. It’s amazing would including veggies with breakfast can help you feel so much healthier.
So, do you get points for veggies? I guess I thought it was just the mileage.

Great job on week number two and for hitting all of your runs in your training plan this week!
Great job this week! Wow, a week with 50+ miles would scare me too – this week I have 39 planned and I think that may be my highest week ever. Go you!
