So far, so good. I think I managed to hit my “freggie” goal every.single.day. I’ve had to do a midweek grocery shop every week, though, to get extras as I am apparently unable to believe just how “7 fruits/veggies a day” translates to actual amounts of food LOL.
On the training front, I had a break through this week on my “5 in 5” training. I finally had a good long run and I broke into the double digits. From here on out, I’ll be averaging 5% increases each week. (I’m mentally prepared to have a drop back week followed by a 10% increase week when my body needs it or my schedule shortens a run.) Today’s 7 miler felt surprisingly short. I think I’ve finally reached the point where running for an hour is the “norm”.
Stats for the week:
Total: 33.6 miles
Long run: 10 miles
Shortest run: 4.3 miles
Sadly, I didn’t do yoga the one day that I could this past week. I’m hopeful that I can squeeze in two sessions this week.

I’m very impressed you’ve been able to hit your freggie goal. I really struggle with that.
It’s probably better to keep underestimating your fruit and vegie needs – that way you’re getting it fresher.
I’m so glad to hear that the running’s getting easier. It’s really encouraging for me.
Isn’t it crazy when what used to be considered a “long run” seems short!?! And great job with the veggies, I really need to work on that.
By the way, LOVE the 50 states races goal, I can’t believe you’re at 20 already…I think I’ve only raced in 3 or 4 states!
