Life threw me some challenges this week and I’m proud to say I rose to the occasion. My long run on Monday just sucked. I was mentally not into it and physically tired. Somehow, I managed to dig deep and get the entire planned run done. 10.6 miles is a really long way if you are ready to be done at the 1.5 mile point. Tuesday’s 5.3 miles were better, but I still was DONE at the end of the run.
16 inches of snow ended any plans of running outside the rest of the week. 8 miles in 79ish minutes on the treadmill while watching nothing but the weather was its own kind of hell, but I did it. Even more amazing is that I got back on the mill the next day. I have one more run left to do today as I took an accidental rest day yesterday, but, ehh, it happens.
I’ve hit all my fruits and veggies, but I’d be less than honest if I didn’t admit that they were surrounded by cheese, cookies, and beer. It’s all about balance, right?

Awesome week! Way to tough it out on your long run. I love your numbers. I need to try that, although I don’t know if I’m creative enough. Have a great week and a Merry Christmas!
I love your life in numbers. What a great way to share a lot of neat info!
I’m going to steal your snow photos and put them up as my wallpaper and pretend that it’s not stinking hot outside. Yay White Christmas for me.
I love your numbers! I have similar numbers around how long I thought I would live in NYC and how long I’ve actually lived here. Never thought that I would stay this long but love the city now. And great job with your HBBC points! I’ve totally fallen off the wagon a little bit. Hope to jump back on this week…or maybe next week. Happy holidays!
