It’s not exactly a secret that I love Skirt Sports. I first fell in love with the Happy Girl (still my favorite of their products), then discovered their Lotta Breeze capri, and then moved on to tights and jackets, and tank tops, oh my. While I don’t intentionally wear an item from Skirt Sports every single day, I would say you could find something Skirt Sports on me on most days. (This is my summer collection. I should figure out how many cold weather things I have LOL)
I recently tried out one of their new fall products: the Lotta Love top. I am a huge fan of quarter zip tops (I’m actually planning to turn my Marine Corps shirt into one). I have a huge collection of this style of top, as it’s my favorite winter running style AND my favorite non running top when it’s cool out. As you might imagine, my new one from Skirt Sports has quickly become a favorite. Why?
- The pattern. I LOVE the tantrum pattern as it goes with EVERYTHING. It’s just such a fun pattern. (The safari print is pretty awesome too.)
- Thumbholes. Do I really need to say anything more about that???
- A zipper pocket in the back. Yay, someplace to put my phone that I won’t land on when I inevitably fall on my face this winter.
The body of the Lotta Love is made of endure jersey (87% poly / 13% spandex). It’s got a bit of stretch and is a bit heavier than the sleeves. The sleeves are made of sweetest mesh (78% poly / 22% spandex) & peek-a-boo mesh (88% nylon / 12% spandex) and, as I mentioned above, have thumbholes. I’ll confess that I have yet to actually run it. What can I say? I prefer to wear it to social events. In fact, I can’t promise that I will ever run in it because it’s too cute.
But with the lighter weight sleeves, the thumbholes, and the pocket in the back, I’m pretty sure it would be perfect for running.
How ’bout we make a deal? I’ll do a giveaway, one of you win, you run in it, and then tell me what you think? Sounds good to me! (And if you are feeling impatient, feel free to use code SSMCM20 for 20% off!)
And since it’s nearing Thanksgiving, I’m even going to give you each a free entry as thank you for being awesome readers this year.
