iherb.com review and giveaway

September 15, 2014 by MCM Mama 128 Comments

I know you all really want to know about how Ragnar went.

Short answer:  It.was.awesome.

ragnar-momsdoitallnightlong

I promise to tell you more later, but I’m still catching up on sleep and chores.

So, let’s talk about iherb.com.  When they first contacted me and offered me a gift certificate to try their site, I wasn’t at all interested. I assumed it was just another supplement company and I don’t really take vitamins or supplements.  But then I took a few minutes to take a look at their site. Once I realized that they offered products that I actually use, I decided to take them up on their offer.

Logo_English

Turns out it was a good choice.  iherb carries a huge variety of products.  I was able to find the shampoo that my kids use, a cleaner that I love and have a hard time finding, and my kids’ favorite snacks.  Even better, they carry a number of running products that I like: nuun, Clif Bar products, Muscle Milk powder, Powerbar to name a few.  Their search engine works well and they offer a listing by brand, so it was super easy to find things I actually use and need.  I quickly filled my shopping cart and nearly as quickly got my products!

iherb-products

Even better, iherb did an amazing job packaging my purchase.  Every bottle that could leak was in a sealed plastic bag and the one glass bottle was in cardboard protection.  Win!

iherb-packaging

Speaking of winning, iherb has offered to let me give two of my readers a $50 gift card!  Winners need to register to iHerb.com to claim their prize. Unlike many of my giveaways, this one is open to my international readers.  Shipping will be taken care of for both US and non-US winners. Winners outside of the US are responsible for any additional taxes/duties/brokerage fees levied to them by their Customs Agency and/or Postal Service. (If you don’t live in the US, please make sure iherb delivers to your country.  Go to their international page for all the information on international shipping. )

So, what are you waiting for?  Get busy entering!

I would probably get protein powder and/or coconut oil because I use both of those products a lot… maybe some sea salt, and maybe a chocolate bar because I adore chocolate! 🙂

I would definitely stock up on Yogi Tea and Pb2 powder peanut butter! The teas are organic and have natural derived flavour and my favourites would be Blueberry Slim Life Green Tea, Skin Detox, and Peppermint Tea. They somehow managed to reduce my bloating, soothe my indigestion, and help with my weight loss. I’ve reordered twice and you should definitely try them too! 🙂 As for Pb2, it’s totally different than other peanut butters out there as you need to mix it with water and the oil and fat have been reduced up to 85%! Totally awesome if you love to indulge in PB like me!

I’d really like to get the Gaia Herbs Plantain Goldenseal Herbal Salve! Salves are rarely sold in my country and I think it would be a great addition to my first aid kit.

I’d buy Now brand liquid stevia. It’s the best-tasting and iherb has great prices.

Your iherb goodie box looks like it was filled with some pretty amazing stuff 🙂 My fave iherb products are the Camu Camu from Navitas Naturals and the Mushroom tinctures from Fungi Perfecti…they are the perfect immunity duo to stop a cold/virus in its tracks!!
