Join me for some holiday challenges!

I’m participating in some challenges to start getting into a healthy holiday mood.  Why don’t you join me?

I’m not doing so hot at my own challenge.  My foot is just not on board. That’s ok, though, I’m not eligible for prizes anyways LOL.  And I’m doing a great job of cross training.

Have you joined?  Need to update your numbers?  Go here. (Late comers, feel free to add yourselves at the bottom and set a mileage goal for the rest of the month. ) I’ll announce a small “halfway” there prize on Tuesday for one of the original participants who has their number entered.

I’m a bit sad to not join in the RW Run Streak this year, but I’d rather heal and be able to run than to push my foot to a point where I can’t run at all…

Movement Challenge:

Holiday Sweat Challenge 2014_thumb[2]Since I’m not able to run as much as I’d like, I need all the motivation I can get to find other ways to move.  I’ve done the HBBC, or Holiday Sweat Challenge as it’s called this year, almost every year since Amanda started it. It’s fun to try and find ways to keep adding the points even when I want to be sitting on the couch drinking a holiday beer!  Details are here and feel free to tell them that MCM Mama sent you!

What else is going on out there that would be fun to join?  Tell me!  Also, don’t forget to join us for Tuesdays on the Run tomorrow.  We want to hear about the worst weather conditions you’ve raced in! 

(I’m still debating if that’s pouring rain or 100+ degree heat or a “feels like of 9 degrees” with a killer wind.  Guess we’ll all find out tomorrow.  Also? You never want to sign up for a race with me.  Guaranteed there will be hill and the weather will probably suck.)

    Love all these challenges. We are doing a small run streak challenge. To at least move 1 mile a day till jan 1st. We are using the hashtag #F2Fstreaking 😉

    This post reminded me that I joined a push up and plank challenge for November. Oops. lol I think I did it for about three days…I completely forgot about it! Goes to show how committed I am to strength training… BUT I’m doing well in your November mileage challenge! I set a goal of 90 because I didn’t think I could hit 100 yet this month, but I’m already at 58.5, so I just may break 100 for the first time since December of 2012!
