Note that I chose MCM’s wording of “Mission Accomplished” rather than “Goal Accomplished”. Finish time: 4:57:17.
I ran. I finished. I learned some lessons about myself and about running a marathon.
Marine Corps Marathon #4 in the books. Marine Corps Marathon #5 next year will be a love run, not a redemption run.
More on all of this in a day or two.

Congrats! I am looking forward to the full recap.
Maybe I’ll join you! MCM is a race that I feel compelled to conquer (or, at the very least, experience).
Yes! Come out next year.
I heard it was pretty darn hot out there! Great job!
Thanks! It was a perfect day – for anything other than running a marathon with no shade…
CONGRATULATIONS! WOW you have it in you for another, I did two and done.
Well, one more puts me in the Runner’s Club, so…
It was a hot one yesterday so i’m glad you got through it. Congrats!
It was warm, especially the last 6 miles that have basically no shade.
Congrats on your accomplishment Erika!
