I think I may have found my legs again. My tempo run on Friday was more of a progressive run for the first five miles and then two easy miles, but it felt pretty good. It was darned cold out though. It “felt like” 10 degrees. I wore running tights and running pants and still couldn’t feel by butt at the end of the run. I also couldn’t feel my nose, which was lovely, since it was running. It’s a good thing I’m married ’cause I certainly was not at my most attractive out there.

I like the cross training. 🙂
I'm going to do my next treadmill run as a speedwork and I'll dedicate it to you, b/c you rocked it and inspired me to work a little harder on it next time.
I'm great at winning things, can't wait:)I know, I'm ready for the weather to pass for sure. Speed and hills, speed and hills!
Great news on finding your legs. I've been struggling with that this whole training cycle
Good to hear you found your legs again! I'm hoping no more snow! It is pretty, but seems to linger too long here. Our greenways are still covered and mostly impassable for running.Awesome on the cross training! 🙂
Beer, chili, and cornbread. Corect me if I am wrong, but I think that covers three of the four food groups.
One good thing about Virginia winters is that all that snow can't stick around for too long. I hope it's all gone in time for 13!
that's awesome! I love doing speed repeats on the 'mill. Keeps me consistent, and the treadmill is a good taskmaster. But I agree…13 on the treadmill would be killing me.
Nice job on those 800's!
awesome treadmill run. Speedwork on a treadmill scares me as I am super clumsy. I too was a major snot factory on Sunday's run.
Great job on the run AND cross-training. Here's hoping you don't get dumped on with too much snow and that the weathr is decent for your race.
