I’m a snacker. Seriously, I eat at least 6 times a day and most of those times are snacks. (I try to include veggies and protein in each mini-meal and spread my calories evenly throughout the day.)
So, is anyone really at all surprised that I’m in love with NatureBox? New snacks to try every month that don’t include high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, trans fats, or partially hydrogenated oils. I try to avoid all those things for me, but I’m super uptight about it when it comes to my kids. I figure there will be plenty of times when they will be given those kinds of things by others, so *I* shouldn’t be the one handing those to them.
But you know what? All those things wouldn’t matter if the food didn’t taste good. I can’t eat “cardboard” just to be healthy. Just sayin’.
I also think it’s pretty darn cool that for every box sold, NatureBox donates a meal to help feed the millions of children in America who go hungry each day. This is pretty win/win for me. I get healthy snacks to feed my kids and a child gets a meal.
I haven’t seen the August box yet. It’s probably sitting at my house with my husband waiting for me. (Sad Panda Face Here) But the July one was incredible. Seriously. I nearly cried when Shoo discovered the Lemon Pucker Pistachios. (I might have just hid some of the other bags from him after that. Maybe.)

i used to snack a lot on fruits, yogurts, nut butters, and etc. but now that i’m trying to eat mostly paleo, my snacks will consist of fruits & nut butters & a lot of jerky!

With 4 very active people in my house ( 2 training for a marathon) healthy snacks go fast in my house.
I am a snacker as well. Most of the time I love to just snack on veggies and hummus.
I love to snack… I sometimes eat the wrong thing (spent too many years doing that), but now I try to stick with nuts, fresh veggies (carrots!!!) and hummus, and cheese and crackers.
I’m currently addicted to popcorn and roasted chickpeas.
