Today’s topic for Tuesdays on the Run is “Best things seen at a race”. I’ve seen some pretty amusing things: guys running only in thongs, jogglers, dribblers (literally a guy dribbling a basket ball the whole race), awesome costumes, awful costumes, etc. But, despite running with my phone, I pretty much never take pictures and I have the memory of a gnat, so I leave you with this…
Moving right along..
Here are our upcoming topics:
- 10/23 – Standout Post-Race Food
- 10/30 – Halloween!
- 11/6 – Racing Mistakes
- 11/13 – The Best City I Ever Ran In Is…
- 11/20 – Black Friday
And October 16 at 10am EST, ZOOMA opens its winter challenges. You can join us for the Holiday Challenge – a movement and self care challenge for the busy holiday season, the Love Run Challenge – a “streak” challenge of one mile of walk or run each day, or become a Winter Warrior and do both. They are a lot of fun with awesome women supporting each other through the winter. And of course, I’ll be hanging out there. Bonus? The swag is pretty sweet!
If you want to join me, use code AMB10 to get 10% off your entry fee to either single challenge or the combined one. If you are in the first 50 to enter the Winter Warrior challenge, you’ll get a Motivate Wrap.
Come join me!

At my most recent half there was the guy in the skirt — not a tutu & not a kilt! No idea what was up with that.
I’m kind of wanting both of those shirts! Hmmmmm
THAT picture is a good inspiration for MCM! 🙂 The ZOOMA challenges sound like fun. I will check them out!
The ZOOMA challenge sounds really neat – I’m going to look into it! I’ve always wanted to participate in a challenge like this but just never have. Thanks for sharing the info!
Ohhh, I love the mind over miles tee – super cute!
Mmmm yeah that photo never gets old 🙂
Okay…if I was doing a race and saw those two dudes along the route, I’d be tripping over my own two big feet. Yowza! I usually have my phone with me for races (you know, to snap those post-finish line selfies), but seldom take many pics along the route….
That Zooma shirt is super cute may have to do the challenge!
I’ve also seen some amusing things but never take pictures (and usually can’t remember them!) The challenges sound great. I did the Love Run Challenge a few years ago but I won’t be participating this year since I have no idea when I’ll get back to running!
Nice swag for that Winter challenge!
