We all know I love the half marathon distance (guess that’s why I’ve done 39 of them LOL). It’s a challenge, but it’s a distance that’s manageable to train for with a busy life. But really, is it just “half”? No!
Enter the Skirt Sports 13er. As Nicole DeBoom, founder of Skirt Sports, says, “It’s not half of anything!” No one calls a 10k a quarter marathon (I realize it’s not quite). So, why make a “13er” seem like less than it is?
So, about that 13er… On June 14 in Louisville, CO, Skirt Sports is hosting the Skirt Sports 13er, 10k, and 5k and I’d like to give you chance to run it! (You can also run virtually, so don’t hesitate to enter if you can’t make it there.) I was hoping to throw in the bonus of getting to run it with me, but I just can’t get out there that weekend. (If you want to run with me in DC, I’m all in!)
Here are the details of what you win:
Basic Entry ($85) which includes:
- $50 gift certificate
- A Race bib
- Finisher’s Skirt (Don’t Sweat It Collection pull over skirt)
- Sponsor swag
You can use this for the local race on June 13th or run it virtually on the same day. You can run the 13er, 10k, or 5k!
Don’t want to wait to win? You can us my code: SSMCM20 to get 20 percent off any level of entry.
What’s your favorite race distance? What would you call the half marathon if you could rename it?
