***IF YOU WANT TO FOLLOW SWEAT TO STREET ON TWITTER OR PLAN ON TWEETING YOUR POST, PLEASE USE THE HASHTAG #SweatToStreet***
Sweat to Street has been created as a place to link up your favorite outfits of the week as a new Sunday blog feature. The idea is to have some fun and change it up! Each week we encourage you to post one workout outfit and one outfit you wore that isn’t fitness related.
Every week we spotlight one awesome blogger who links up with us in the previous week! Our way of thanking you for sharing your fabulous/fun/fitness style!
This week had some major ups and downs, but the underlying theme was pretty much “way too much going on”. I actually spent wore four different “street” outfits that did not involve shorts/jeans and a t-shirt. I know. I was shocked too. Tonight, I’m going with the unwashed, unexercised look since one night of staying out till 1am + one morning of getting up at 4:25am + other busy days/nights = so tired I can hardly type this.
Sweat
I think I got one run in this week. That’s it. I pretty much did too much of everything this week, except run and sleep. Sigh. I did volunteer at the local Girls on the Run race today, but no, I didn’t take any pictures of me rocking my lime green tech tee and black skirt sport happy hour skirt.
Street
As I mentioned, “street” was not a problem this week. I had an all day client meeting on Wednesday, went out with some girlfriends on Thursday, Beer Geek and I went wine tasting on Friday, and we attended a friend’s one year old’s birthday on Saturday. I pretty much wore every skirt I currently own LOL.
One of the several vineyards we hit in Loudoun County
(As an aside, I highly recommend staying at Smithfield Farms if you are every out in Western Loudoun/Eastern Clarke County in Virginia. In addition to a B&B, it’s a working meat farm with cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens. All the animals are grass fed, humanely raised animals on chemical and pesticide free pastures. We got to have some of the sausage for breakfast and it was wonderful! I’d also recommend stopping for a tasting at the nearby Sunset Hills and Veramar Vineyards.)
