Sweat to Street has been created as a place to link up your favorite outfits of the week as a new Sunday blog feature. The idea is to have some fun and change it up! Each week we encourage you to post one workout outfit and one outfit you wore that isn’t fitness related.
Sweat
This week I actually have a cute outfit. But that’s not the best part about this outfit. The best part is that I wore it to run what was pretty much the hardest half marathon I’ve ever run and it came through with flying colors. I was comfortable the whole time and I have not a single spot of chafe! Woo hoo! (About that half, I’ll do a race report tomorrow, but for now, let me just say, it was hard. Like “I’m taking stairs backwards ’cause my quads hurt” hard. Like “I ran up a mountain” hard. But I gave it everything I had and ran hard and finished and I had a fun time, so it was wonderful.)

Street
Some days I dress like such a 40 year old mom. In fact, I keep waiting for the “What Not to Wear” people to show up on my doorstep. Oh well, sometimes comfort and function have to come over style.

Love the lime green shirt/black skirt combo. 🙂
And, um, I guess I must dress like a 40 yr old mom too (which I guess for me would be a good thing, since I’m actually 47..hahhah). That looks like something straight out of my closet.
Awesome job on the half (saw your time in the paper), that is one tough race, and in vibrams! Have you tried the target sports (running) skirt. I really like mine, lots of coverage, cheap, but it does have tighter long shorts underneath.
maybe this means i have no fashion sense either, but i think your street outfit is adorable. comfort is key with me, and that looks comfy! 🙂
congrats on such a tough half marathon, btw! I was looking at the elevation chart of the course…. OUCH! way to go
Glad to hear you had such a fun race, can’t wait to read the report!
Congrats I a tough half marathon!! I love your street outfit!!!
I am anxious to hear how the Vibrams performed for the half!
Love the outfit!! Can’t wait to read the race report
