1. I finally found a way to read blogs again that makes me happy: The Old Reader. Yes, it’s pretty much a knock off on Google reader. And that works for me. I was able to download all of my feeds from google reader and upload them (complete with folders) to The Old Reader in a matter of minutes. Pretty cool!
If you’ve chosen a different reader, here are some other ways to follow my blog:
Or on Feedly
Or via email… Subscribe to MCM Mama Runs by Email
Or join me on Facebook – where I frequently talk about beer and whine about the weather…
2. Yesterday we went with a friend to the Baltimore Aquarium. The boys loved it. I’ll have a real post about it in a day or two. Apparently they keep records a long time, as the last time we went, Jones and I looked like this…
(Yes, I am one of those people who gets pregnant all over, not just in my belly. Glad those days are behind me LOL. Also wondering where the actual pictures from the aquarium went…)
3. After two days of being out and about, I was exhausted by the time we got home, so no running happened. Thankfully, today, my introverted child begged to not go anywhere and my extroverted child was thrilled to have a playdate, so I got to sleep in, go for a run, and get a weight workout in. Oh, and do some work.
So far, Camp Mama is going well, but I’ve had to burn the candle at both ends to get everything done and still be present with the boys each day. More fun planned for the coming weeks…
LOL I saw the pic before I read the post and thought, “mama needs some new clothes!!”
I love the Aquarium but it IS pricey. Camp Mama is looking good! Good for you for keeping your sanity this far )
Fun that you are doing Camp Mama – I’m trying to be present in the days with my boys this summer but I’m not that creative. We tend to do the same thing lots of days!!
I love how you are doing sun and educational things with the kids, the museum and aquarium…can I go to Camp MCMama?
I love aquariums as I keep and breeds lots of tropical fish. We have 7 fish tanks at home.
Entertaining the kids on the holidays can be a full time job. How long did you say the holidays were?
Perfect about the reader – now you can read my new blog! http://dasmixture.com/
I’m slowly but surely adjusting to bloglovin and finding that the more I use it the more I like it. For the first couple of weeks I really missed google reader.
