I’m not even sure who I’m borrowing this idea from as many of my RBFs are doin’ it.
1. It’s a good thing I decided to cut my mileage back. I ran six miles today and I could not have run a step further. In fact, Garmin needed charging, so I was running “old school” and I’m not sure I managed to complete a full 6 miles in the hour and six minutes I ran.
2. I’ve been a decluttering maniac lately. I’ve been selling/donating anything that the kids have outgrown. I asked Beer Geek about selling a specific baby gate and his response was that I could get rid of anything in the house but the tv, the computer, and his bed. OK, then. I’ll take that as license to purge. ;o)
3. If you allow a 3 year old and a 4 year old to play upstairs by themselves, investigate immediately if it suddenly becomes very quiet. Otherwise you might find this:
In case you can’t tell, they stacked Jones’ games on top of
Jones’ books in an attempt to climb to the top bunk.
Luckily, no Clone troopers were injured in the attempt.
HBBC
Running – 6.5
Walking – 2
F/V – 1 (I’m already at 5 for the day, so no worries about finishing).
Toning – hasn’t happened yet
Total – 9.5
Total for the week – 28.5
That picture is hilarious! In our house, quiet either means trouble or pooping.
Beer Geek is a wise man. You should reward him with anything he wants.
Oh my goodness! That's too funny about the little ones!
that is great that your kids are so close in age! I hope they grow up to be best friends!I sent u an email yesterday morning around 9am, I hope it went through. Thanks!
the quiet is still better than the sound of the thud had it gone further! enjoy the decluttering, it's soul cleansing too!
Love those pics! Boys are too funny. Quiet always means trouble here, too, and I only have one!
That could just as easily be a picture of my two boys as well. We have those same helmets. I am a big fan of decluttering…it always leaves me with a great feeling of accomplishment!!
hilarious! I really need to get at the running – haven't moved a step all week so far…
Ha! What a great picture.
I need to get on my house decluttering pronto!!
Your clone troopers are not only cute, but quite resourceful! High five on the decluttering! Our house could use that now, sooooo badly.

The Clone Troopers are hilarious! It must be a boy thing – that quiet that comes when they are doing something dangerous!
Love the pictures! Yep, quiet is always scary.
Haha so cute! There is something about cleaning and being able to throw things out/get rid of stuff!
YAY for purging. I love getting rid of things.
Cute pictures! I know what you mean about kids being quiet. I always get nervous when I hear the silence. 🙂
They are too cute!I hate running "old school." How did I manage before my Garmin???I look forward to a few weeks of scaled back running after the Jacksonville marathon, too. 6-milers, 4-milers— they sound so NICE.
Yes it is always scary when it the kids are quiet!I am right there with you on the purging, with the remodeling we are doing I am getting rid of a bunch of stuff.
I love it! Hilarious picture! I am a bit of a de-cluttering freak. I go to the Good Will about every 1-2 weeks…the drop off guys know me! My husband gets mad at me sometimes b/c I get rid of stuff he likes!
What a great picture of your boys. And welcome to the 3 things thursday club! ha!
