I got my first items to review from Tommie Copper quite a while ago. They sent me a set of calf sleeves and ankle sleeves. At the time, I immediately fell in love with the calf sleeves. They may have been the very first piece of compression gear I owned. More than 2 years later, I still love them and they are holding up well to tons of washing (I never put my compression stuff in the dryer). I didn’t think I liked the ankle sleeves, but I ended up using them quite a bit when my right achilles was being crabby.
Flash forward, when I started putting together my Lucky 13 giveaways this spring, Tommie Copper was generous enough to not only offer a pair of sleeves or socks to one of you, they were also willing to send me a few items to try out.
I received a pair of capris, a tank top, and a pair of compression socks.
The capris are wonderful. They fit nicely and I’ve run in them a few times with no issues at all. They have a nice wide waistband that stays put, whether I’m running or doing boot camp. I’ve only washed them a handful of times, but they still look like new. Because they are not specifically designed for running, they do not have a pocket and that’s about the only negative I could come up with. They are, however, designed to aid in recovery, have a UPF of 50, and are made with Tommie Copper’s cool moisture management to keep you cool and dry.
The shirt is a gorgeous blue and super soft. It’s super long, so no worries about it riding up when you are running or working out (I hate it when my shirts ride up!) I got a medium, which should have been loose on me, but was fairly fitted, so keep that in mind if you order one of their tanks.
The compression socks are easy to get on and super comfy. They are not as tight as some of the socks I own, which is a good thing. I find that sometimes the pairs that I like to run in are too much after the race, so the Tommie Copper compression socks are a nice compromise after a hard race. Tight enough to help with recovery, but not so tight I feel like my calves are being strangled.
Do you like compression socks? Want to try out your own pair of socks or sleeves? Enter below!
Once again I’m participating in a blog giveaway hop. What does this mean to you? More things you can enter to win!
I have a pair of calf sleeves and a pair of (relatively loose) compression socks. I like both but am still trying to decide if I like running in them. The socks are definitely good for recovery!
I prefer not to run in my sleeves (I get way too hot), but they’re great for recovery.
I don’t usually like to run in compression socks, but they’re awesome for recovery. I also love them on days when I’ll be on my feet a lot—they help prevent fatigue.
Love compression socks! I wear them all the time, haha!
I own a pair of compression socks that I use for recovery but not for actual running…I find the foot part to be two thin for my feet and blisters occur more because of it. This is why I’d love to win the calf sleeve…something I could wear while also wearing suitable socks for running, walking and hiking. Great giveaway!
I do like compression sleeves! I am actually looking into trying a new brand to see if I would like them 🙂
I’m all about compression everything. Haven’t tried this line yet-maybe I will win!!
I love wearing compression socks. They definitely help me on my long runs!
I don’t run in sleeves or socks but I love them for recovery and love sleeping in them.
I love my calf sleeves for after running. I think they absolutely help.
I only own a single pair of sleeves. I’ve been wanting to try and pair of compression socks for a while.
I haven’t tried compression socks or sleeves yet, but I’ve heard great things about them!
I love wearing calf sleeves & socks on long runs and for recovery after long runs.
I’ve never tried compression socks but now that I’m starting to run longer and farther, I would like to get a pair and see how they help with my recovery time to reduce the stiffness.
I’ve really been wanting to try some compression gear, but I just don’t like the price tag on a lot of that stuff. If I knew it worked for me, I’d be more willing to shell out the bucks. Thanks for the giveaway and review!
I’ve never tried sleeves, but I love compression socks. I wear them for most long runs and sometimes for recovery.
I like compression socks and use them regularly on my long runs. I ran an ultra last year and towards the end of the race my right calf began to knot up and I credit the compression socks with preventing a catastrophe.
I’ve never tried compression socks. I’d prefer sleeves if I win, though.
I love compression socks for recovery. I can’t run in them as I get way too hot, but they are great for post long run/race recovery!
yes. use all my long runs and races in them
I have never tried any compression socks or sleeves. Would love to try them. I have heard that they give amazing support and help with shin splits as well as other soreness.

I love my compression socks, but tend not to wear them as much in the summer. They are way to hot.
I’ve never tried any kind of compression sleeves or socks but I’d love to try them after I get my miles up! I’ve heard great things about them!
I have never tried compression sleeves or socks. But I like the idea of the socks. I don’t like having my arms covered when I run but I would definitely try the socks out.
Never tried sleeves or socks, but interested in it.

I love my compression socks!! Never do a long run without them. The brighter the better :).
I love both compression socks and sleeves!
I love my compression socks. They make my legs feels so good.
I have a pair of both and like them for different things. The socks are great when the weather is cool and I will be leaving my socks and shoes on after a run/race but I love the sleeves when it is warm so that I can wear sandals to cool down while still getting compression.
Love them both! I love the options of hiding sleeves under my work clothes.
I like compression socks! Especially in the winter.
I love compression socks, they are great for recovery!
I have both, I prefer to run in my sleeves…. and cool down or “de-compress” if you will, in the socks. When I run in my compression socks they give my foot a weird feeling. May just be me though. Either way, love both!!
I LOVE compression sleeves/socks. I wear them for all long runs.
Neon pink CEP knee high compression socks . Would love to try something new!

I haven’t used compression socks yet, but I was told that they may help with my shin tightness & pain when I run.
I haven’t tried compression socks or sleeves before so I have no idea. I have friend that could probably use a product like this though.

I discovered compression gear (shorts, tights, sleeves, and socks) when I first started running. A must for long runs and recovery. Don’t think I could ever go without it.

I have never worn compression sleeves when running, but its something I am interested in trying.
