I stayed up too late last night trying to find some pictures for Jones for a school project. When I went to bed, I woke Jones up accidentally (he lost a tooth and I was trying to play Tooth Fairy). Then Shoo woke up. Finally, I got everyone resettled and crawled into bed. Just as I dozed off, I heard a crash from downstairs. Did I mention Beer Geek is out of town? Yeah. So I just stayed in bed, too scared to go figure out what it was. And, of course, I had forgotten to bring a phone upstairs with me. I finally dozed off a few hours later and then Shoo called me. I fell asleep in his bed with him and was woken by another random house noise. Again, too scared to check it out. I ended up not going back to sleep. Grand total for sleep last night – about two hours. (Turns out the first sound was a curtain rod in the kitchen falling down (WTF?) and the second I’m pretty sure was the cat running over said rod.) Thank goodness my parents will be here tonight!
What a night…

Awwwwwhhh how cute is that? Our photos are organized the same way, by date. Nothing but pictures of the first born for the year 2004.
cute photo!one time when Husband was out of town, I heard this banging noise in the kitchen. Bang. Bang bang bang. Bang crash bang bangI was also too afraid to investigate so I stayed in the bedroom until the sun came up.Turns out my cat was trapped in the cupboard trying to get out and knocking things over. LOL
That’s an adorable photo!Darn, though– I had this fantasy that once I have kids I’ll suddenly stop being afraid of all the things that go bump in the night. I’m glad the sounds were nothing serious but sorry you must be exhausted today!
Very cute. Is it weird that I am kinda in envy of that snow?
