Whip up a sweet dessert with Yoplait Greek 100 Whips!

February 6, 2015 by MCM Mama 20 Comments

Many thanks to Yoplait for sponsoring today’s story and encouraging me to try Yoplait Greek 100 Whips!!

I love dessert! I have a HUGE sweet tooth, as I mentioned earlier this week. I’m also marathon training, so I’m hungry all.the.time. So, when I had the chance to try the Yoplait Greek 100 Whips!, I jumped on it. I already had a love for the Yoplait regular whipped yogurt, so getting that same texture but more protein sounded fabulous.

I wasn’t disappointed. The texture is creamy but airy and the flavor is fabulous. Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! are available in 8 great flavors, including  Vanilla Cupcake, Strawberry Cheesecake, Lemon Meringue, and Raspberry. I was only able to find Black Cherry, Raspberry, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Blueberry. My favorite flavor so far is the Raspberry, but I really want to try the Lemon Meringue and the Vanilla Cupcake.  Mmm, vanilla cupcakes…

Sorry, got sidetracked. Anyways, I have been eating these for my evening dessert each night. Because we eat dinner at 5:30 and I don’t go to bed until close to midnight, I need to eat around 8 or I’m starving before bed. These little babies are awesome because they come in 8 flavors and have only 100 calories with 0% fat, but 9 grams of protein. This would be perfect if I were not, in fact, run 30+ miles a week. So, I’ve been pumping up the Yoplait Greek 100 Whips! just a bit with some almond butter.

What? You’ve never put almond butter in your yogurt? You are totally missing out. (Of course, I think almond butter goes good with everything.)

Check out this little treat I made myself last night:

Yoplakt-Pbj-Whip

I used to eat peanut butter and jelly on graham crackers as a snack when I was younger, so I wanted to replicate that.  I crumbled up a graham cracker, added the raspberry Whip, and topped with a dollop of almond butter and a black raspberry. It was sooo good. Not that I got to eat it all since a certain little boy decided he liked it and left me with a “plain” one.

Being forced to eat a Strawberry Cheesecake Whip? Not a hardship.

Want to try some? Yoplait is offering a coupon to SAVE $1.00 ON FIVE Yoplait® when you buy FIVE CUPS any variety Yoplait® Greek, Yoplait® Greek 100 or Yoplait® Greek 100 Whips!® yogurt. PLEASE NOTE: offer is void in NV, NJ & ND.

So, tell me, have you tried these? What dessert would you make? Check out the Yoplait Recipes page for more ideas!

Vanilla Cupcake sounds super yummy! I’ve been eating lots of Greek yogurt too and the yoplait is my favorite brand. It does take away that craving for sweets.

I love the idea of PB&J yogurt! What a good idea. Especially the crushed graham crackers. I couldn’t find the vanilla cupcake in my store. So sad! I clicked thru on the links to check out the flavors and that coupon. 😉

I love these! My favorite flavors are the lemon and raspberry. Vanilla cupcake is good too. I haven’t tried any mix-ins though, I’ll need to get on that!

It looks kind of gross, but tastes really good! And for me, it helps balance the sugar.

That Strawberry Cheesecake yogurt sounds absolutely delicious! I might have to get my hands on a couple of these the next time I go to the grocery store.

We transitioned away from peanut butter this year, so now I add almond butter to everything.

I don’t think it tastes like Greek yogurt. I only like 1 brand of non-whipped Greek yogurt. This tastes more like regular yogurt and I just love the fluffy texture.

yum…this looks absolutely DELISH!!! I just recently bought some Danon Greek yogurt…I will definitely give these a try. I’ve never tired Almond butter but I think you’ve given me an idea to add peanut butter to my yogurt. lol…but then that may defeat my point of the yogurt…as a low point (weight watchers) snack. lol
