So far, June is the month of not running. (That’s not completely true as I did run a half marathon. A long half marathon.) My various body parts have asked for a break from the pounding that is running. One of my ankles is really angry at me and in fact threw a complete temper tantrum this morning. Jacked up ankle + 3 inch heels? Recipe for face plant. That’s all I’m saying.
So, I’m looking elsewhere for fitness. Yoga, Best Body Bootcamp, Pilates, Spinning and, now, Soldier of Steel ™. I swear, the perfect opportunities seem to fall in my lap just when I need them.
What am I talking about? Check this out…
I want to be strong. I want these wimpy little T-rex arms to transform to something to be proud of.
Physical fitness is an essential trait for every Soldier. National Guard Soldiers are trained to be ready for anything. Just as Clark Kent transforms into the MAN OF STEEL™ when needed, National Guard Citizen- Soldiers transform when their communities call.
Want to get that kind of workout (frankly I’m kind of scared. Seriously, people, try the deck squat and tell me you didn’t fall over at least once)? Mark Twight, Hollywood fitness trainer, pushed cast and Soldiers with a unique workout plan, helping them to transform for their respective roles and is now offering a workout you can try.
The Soldiers of Steel™ website offers several options:
- Download a one-month training routine developed by celebrity trainer Mark Twight
- Learn how Mark transformed Henry Cavill into the MAN OF STEEL™
- Watch fitness training webisodes
- Receive training tutorials on 23 different exercises
Anyone else going to jump on this? I’ve checked out all of the exercises – haven’t done them all, but have definitely checked them out and plan to incorporate some into my current workout plan.
Do you think I might look something like this when I’m done??
Probably not, but I do intend to be rocking some awesome muscles!
I was exploring this site early today — it is amazing. I resent the name, but I think I have to try the “Man Maker” 🙂
I wouldn’t mind becoming a woman of steel! So far I’ve tried to achieve this by running and gardening.
I will have to check this site out.
Hope your cranky ankle feels better soon. June has been a lot of no running for me too. of course so was May. Great job keeping busy with other things!
