Exercise, that is.
Remember these arms?
I got those thanks to the FEET of snow we got in February. My arms don’t look quite like that right now, but between hot yoga, lifting weights at the gym, and this…
I’m working on getting those arms back. The two inches of snow we got were a far cry from the two feet we got last time it snowed, but the boys wanted a snow fort, so I carried every shovel full to the corner of the yard for them.
The best workout I’ve had lately was pushing Shoo in his stroller to pick up Jones from school in the snow. That? Was a challenge.
Running is slowly improving. Yesterday, I ran 3.5 miles on the treadmill with some of it actually at a sub-10 minute pace. I totalled 9.8 miles for the week, so I’m making progress. I’m hoping to hit 1275 miles for the year – 19 miles to go to get there.
snow shoveling is a good workout!
I am not a fan of the cold but I do like to shovel snow!Yep, I am thinking that getting my guns and obliques back will have to tide me over till spring :)Happy Holidays!
Over 1200 miles. Awesome year!
I feel like such a cheater – the BF does the driveway with a mini-tractor! Great job on the miles.
That sounds and looks like hard work! I'm sure you'll reach the 1275 miles. Have a good week!
Shouldn't those boys of yours reached the snow shoveling age by now?
I'm of the "let it melt but kids don't slip on the ice" mentality.
Shoveling and driving in the snow are two things I definitely don't miss about snow!
Nice guns! I'm sure you'll have those puppies again in no time!Awesome on the running.
Nice arms! If you miss shoveling the feet of snow, come over to Wisconsin. We got a foot last weekend.
