What? You expected a snow scene? C’mon, I live in Virginia. You know, that place that one minute is below freezing and the next is pushing 50 (or higher this weekend if the weatherman is to be believed.)
After an awesome 6 mile run (seriously, I can’t remember the last time I did 6 miles at a 10:05 pace!), I went to my favorite beer store. I’m not going to tell you what I spent, but I rounded out our annual holiday beer selection quite nicely. There’s a reason I go to that store only a couple of times a year!
I’m sure Beer Geek’s comment will be that we’ll be drinking these beers until next winter. (He says it every year and he’s right.)
But, really, is that a bad thing???

You deserve some beer . Nice run
Haha, that’s awesome! And this DC weather is crazy!! 70 plus on Sunday? Happy running to me!
The Heavy Seas Winter Storm scored pretty well at my 12 Beers of Christmas (middle of the pack). The Virginia Winter/Christmas Beers I took back, not so much…
OOH, the beers! I live your neck of the woods — can I ask, what is your favorite beer store?
I buy most of my beers at the grocery store in Westover or at Arrowine. I don’t usually have to go any further away to find good stuff.
