This has not been a good race year for me. Between my achilles issue, family commitments, and travel, I’ve only run 3 non-virtual races so far in 2011. All of them have been within 5-10 miles of my house.
I’m starting to go through withdrawal. I need a race and I need to travel to race. My map has been static way too long.
Are you within four hours of DC? Got a cool race coming up? Got a brewpub nearby? (hey, gotta get Beer Geek on board, you know)
Help a girl out and find me a race before I get the shakes. ;o)
I see you've already hit Wisconsin!! Did BeerGeek have something to do with that one?! :DGood Luck, MCM Mama! I'm looking forward to seeing which state you hit up next!
Hope you find a race that fits in nicely! Lemme know when you're ready to tackle the provinces. 😉
Come to NY. There is a half in Binghamton 5/15 – inaugural race. There is the Boilermaker 15K in Utica in July that ends at the Saranac Brewery (free beer during 2 hour party). There is the Wineglass Marathon in October. Corning, NY – the finish line – has a great brew pub on Market St just a few blocks from the Expo.

wish you were closer to Michigan…there's a huge race with lots of good brews…but it's already this coming weekend :/
doing SF Half this summer… ahem… just something to look into…
I wish you could come to Iowa.We have the Dam to Dam it is a 20k. It is on June 4.
It says something that you've "only" run 3 races this year. It's only May, lady. You still have more than half a year remaining! I'm sure you'll find plenty to fill your race calendar between now and Dec 31st.
south carolina… although that's more than 4 hrs 😉
I'll be doing the Mossman Sprint Tri in July. It's a 5 hr drive, but you would be able to check off Connecticut. Plenty of time to train for the swim, the bike is just 12.5 miles and then an easy 5k to finish!
You should come to Colorado!! Okay, so it's not within 4 hours of you. 🙂
