MWW*: “Throw me some beads, Mister”

March 9, 2011 by MCM Mama 20 Comments

No, we didn’t make it down to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year. No, there were no women “jumping really high”, *ahem*, for beads. Instead, we got to go to our very family friendly local parade.

The boys got a little crazy while waiting for the parade to start…

The ever important “dog walker” part of the parade…

One of 3? real floats…

This year we hit the big time – we had a marching band!

MWW = Mostly Wordless Wednesday.  ;o)

I had no idea this parade existed until this morning when I some photos on the ARLNow blog. I definitely would have gone if I had known about it. I'm glad you all that had fun!

I haven't been to a local parade since I was a baby. I might be severly disappointed – I only watch Macy's and our locals certainly can't compete with that. You didn't encourage your boys to earn beads? ๐Ÿ˜‰

A Mardi Gras parade would be pretty fun to see, no matter the size! We don't have one around here. ๐Ÿ™
