When you live in my world, you have to have a sense of humor. Although honestly, I think Shoo would make even a person who doesn’t have a sense of humor laugh. ;o)
He dressed himself for church on Christmas Eve. What you can’t tell from the picture is that (in addition to his shirt being wrinkly), the tie is a clip on that clashes and he’s wearing sweat pants with holes in the knees.
Shoo also amused us during the service. As part of the Children’s Sermon, our pastor asked what we were celebrating. Shoo’s answer? “That Jesus Christ was bored.” I’m sure my giggles during the rest of the service were highly inappropriate.
On Christmas Day, we went to Beer Geek’s dad’s house. Once again, my kids exhibited brotherly love.
Note to CPS: he put himself there. |
When my parents read on my blog about my favorite Christmas memory being the “ducken” my dad gave my mom for Christmas 20 years ago, they sent me a picture.
Said “ducken” may have showed up at college graduations and the like for a while before someone put it out of its misery. The stupid thing still makes me giggle when I think about it.
We need to figure out a y to incorporate the ducken into children's nightmares!
lol… what a great Christmas… lol LOVE ducken!! haha!
So the question is, did Shoo get to wear his "holy" pants to church? I love that your parents sent you that picture. So sweet:)
Your son with my daughter would've turned heads with their Christmas couture ;)I had to keep sending her back to her room to change out of the zany concoctions she kept coming up with.
Was the ducken originally a serious present? ANd yes, did Shoo wear holy pants to holy place?
The ducken is hilarious! Looks like you had a great Christmas!
Well your son looks very happy in the crate so there should be no concerns 😛 He sounds like a hoot!
shoo is hilarious!
Every family has to have a comedian. I'm betting it'll be Shoo who will be doing the naked bagel-making when he's all grown up.
LOOOVE this from the family pics to the fact your PARENTS read your blog.love and jealousy up in herre :-)Happy almost 2012.Carla
