We all do it. It’s called a race. ;o)
Today, however, I’m paying for the privilege of running around my neighborhood. Due to Beer Geek having a crazy work schedule, some evening meetings, soccer practice, and Shoo’s best bud being out of town, I have no time today where I won’t have Shoo with me. If I want to get my run on (and boy, do I need to – the scale was not nice to me today AND I’m in desperate need of an endorphin hit), I have to either hit the treadmill or get a babysitter.
Did I mention that it’s supposed to be in the 70s today? Why, yes, it is.
So, Shoo’s preschool teacher will come over after lunch and give him some quality play time, while mommy goes out and has a date with running and the Merrell Pace Gloves.
And it will be worth every.single.penny.
Spring break is not kind to the run schedule for me either. I spent some time yesterday scheduling runs with DH. I'm so not happy to have to run in the evenings this week.Enjoy your run.
hey, we do what we have to do…to get those endorphins going. enjoy it and make it worth your $
Good for you, enjoy your run!
Definitely sounds like a good investment!
Your right it is worth very penny. Enjoy the nice weather and running outside. It was 87 degrees yesterday. Today it is 38 degree this darn weather.
LOVE IT! it's going to be gorgeous today!
The best use of a sitter that I've heard of!
Yep, definitely worth every penny!
Makes sense to me! Enjoy it!
I love "penny's" comment worth every "penny". Yes, I am easily ammused.
You've just reminded me how glad I am that my kids are old now.
Nice! Definitely worth it! Enjoy!
i still think it's weird we pay people money to go and push ourselves really hard and then sometimes cry afterwards 🙂 but a babysitter sounds like a mother's treat!
