I was involved in a discussion recently about how all running bloggers talk about is their workout clothes. You all know I love my Alo capris, my Ryders sunglasses, and my huge collection of running shoes, ranging from Brooks Connects to Vibram Five Fingers to Zemgear Ninjas. But do you have any idea what I love to wear when I’m not in running clothes? (I’ll let you in on a secret – I often go from pajamas to running clothes back to pajamas.) So, while the other hosts are using this to show off the cute outfits they wear on a regular basis, I’m using this to force me to step up my game. Now I have to wear at least one non-workout outfit a week LOL! Join us in showing off our street clothes!

Sweat to Street has been created as a place to link up your favorite outfits of the week as a new Sunday blog feature. The idea is to have some fun and change it up! We’ve all blogged about out workout fashion, and we should face it – we tend to identify ourselves with fitness and health. But – that doesn’t mean we don’t look good when we get all dolled up and go out (I see you rolling your eyes men. You get all dolled up sometimes too!) So each week we encourage you to post one workout outfit and one outfit you wore that isn’t fitness related.
Every week we are going to feature ONE OF YOU!! That’s right! A blogger who links up will get their time in the spotlight as a fashion model!

Ha Ha! When my friend T stopped by last week and I was wearing “street” clothes not running clothes she kept saying how good I looked. We never see each other in anything other than running clothes. And I was only wearing jeans! Have fun with this.
I work from home and rarely go out so my street clothes consist of very unstylish shorts and tees, skirts that I’ve had for probably a couple of decades (and they still fit – yay me!!) and jeans when it cools down. I dress a little like a trendy bag lady – but I’m always comfortable.
Excited to be working with you ladies! Its going to be a ton of fun! 😀
Haha this is such an issue with me. It’s why I always have outdated facebook pictures. TONS of pictures from events and hang outs, barely anything where it requires make up or color coordination. I like this link up idea, we can share with each other what works and what doesn’t.
Love it! I’ll have to join up…I love that you did a preview of this. 😀 Maybe this will help get me out of my gym clothes and into “real” clothes. 😉
I’m so feeling the workout clothes to pajamas and back routine. That’s sadly what I do most days. But it saves a whole set of clothes from the laundry basket!!!
I, like you, do not wear much worthy of photos… but I’ll look forward to reading the posts in the link up!
CUTE CUTE CUTE IDEA!!!!!
Fun idea! I really need to re-discover my wardrobe beyond anything with a Nike or Brooks label on it 🙂
This is such a fun idea! I totally love it and will play along next week!
