1. So about that picture… Marlene hit the nail on the head. And, no, it wasn’t staged. The (empty) beer was still on the table from the previous night and I was blogging about hurting my achilles at the Turkey Trot LOL. I was actually not particularly thrilled he took the picture.
2. Today I’m planning to hit a Bikram yoga class. I’m not generally a fan of being hot, but it’s been so darn cold lately that I might actually enjoy it. I’ll be sure to blog about it. I’m trying really hard to keep cross training a part of my life as I head back to running. (Edited to add: I may not be able to lift my armes tomorrow.)
3. My Metro DC Mom blog got mentioned on the Washington Post’s local blog summary because of the post I wrote about Tonia’s 35 piece wardrobe last week. I’ve also been mentioned on dcblogs because apparently I stink and I’m lazy. I’m kind of beginning to worry about my local reputation LOL.
Have a happy Thursday, my friends!

Have you taken a Bikram Yoga class before? The first two I took were brutal but then I loved it! Just take it easy and enjoy! Definitely a good stretch! Have a great day!
That's fantastic that metroDC mom is getting some attention like that! Anxious to hear about your bikram experience–so many people love it.
Woo-hoo! I am famous by association! Oh, and there are worse reputations to have …
Ha. Last night I told my husband that I was going to take up Bikram yoga because I was already tired of being cold. I have a half marathon Sunday in Fredericksburg and it is supposed to be cold and rainy. I will really really want 90 minutes in a steamy, smelly room after that.
Yay for your MetroDC mom blog!! I haven't tried Bikram yoga..I am interested to hear about it.
Funny comment about your local rep! Your blog is turning out really well! When I ran with you last summer I think you had just begun it or were just about to!
yea for the blog shout outs! i used to be into bikram but got away from it. I really should go back… hope you liked your first very hot experience!
